A wide-open heathland site, Roundhill has plenty of space to enjoy the freedom of the forest. Junior fishing on-site from mid-June, adult fishing close by. Nearby at Beaulieu, is the National Motor Museum and the remains of the Cistercian Abbey founded in 1204 by King John.

Walks start from the campsite office as follows:-
7.00pm Tuesdays 12th, 19th & 26th August
7.00pm Thursdays 14th, 21st & 28th August
* All children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult
* Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead
* Strong footwear should be worn
* Please bring a torch
