Locally, there are 3 excellent golf courses within 7 - 15 miles. Castle Douglas is becoming a well known Food Town while Kirkcudbright is a distinguished Art Town. Our Book Town is Wigtown in Wigtownshire. The annual festivals held throughout the summer are tremendous fun.
