A small park set in lovely countryside suitable for those looking for a quiet relaxing holiday.
Situated in rural Nith Valley in the Dumfries and Galloway region of the south of Scotland, fourteen miles north of Dumfries and two miles west of Thornhill village on the A702 on the left just before Penpont village - look out for Andy Goldsworthys Penpont Cairn (a conical shaped sandstone cairn) which is on the right side of the road half a kilometre before our entrance. Thornhill is fourteen miles north of Dumfries on the A76 route and 25 miles south of the M74 turning off at Junction 14 (take the exit for Drumlanrig Castle on to the A702 and following the signs for Elvanfoot and Thornhill).
