Bigland Hall Caravan Park
The park is situated in 36 achers of woodland. The entrance being an old quarry which is currently undergoing some reconstruction. There is an abundance of wildlife. There is a shop/office at the entrance which sells ice-cream and essential items and is also licensed.
From the M6 turn off at junction 36 onto the A591. Then take the first exit left onto the A590 towards Barrow. Go through Newby Bridge and then turn left opposite the Haverthwaite Steam railway. Go past the Anglers arms hotel and at T juction turn left onto ther B5278 signposted for Holwer Hall and Grange. Pass over the river bridge , ignore sign for Bigland Hall the caravan park entrance is approx. half a mile on the left.
