Otterington Park![]()
Situated in the Vale of York on a family farm, Otterington is an ideal base for visiting the moors and dales of Yorkshire including familiar locations from all your TV favourites - Herriott, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, Brideshead Revisited - historic cities, market towns, leisure centres, tourist attractions, theme parks, golf courses, equestrian facilities and stately homes to name but a few.
The total area of the park is in the region of 16 acres - the original 5 acre touring park and a separate 6 acre holiday park for 40 holiday homes/lodges. The remainder of the land is planted with almost 5000 trees and has nature walks, picnic areas and the fishing lake. Our quality, purpose built, landscaped 5 acre park designed to cater for up to 40 touring units, with electricity to all pitches is further enhanced by a luxurious heated amenity block complete with five individual bath/shower rooms, some with own WC and wash basin. We also have a disabled shower room with toilet and hand basin.
Coarse fishing is available (day/weekly tickets) within 200 metres on our own spring fed, one acre lake, stocked with Roach, Perch, Rudd, Crucian Carp, Tench and Bream.
A childrens play area helps to keep the younger members of the party happy. New for the 2002 season is a nature walk beside the Howe Beck from the caravan park to the fishing lake. Dogs are welcome. PLease click on the adjacent map for precise directions to this park
