The park is situated on the Solway Estuary, directly overlooking the Scottish coastline, in the picturesque village of Allonby - 7 miles south of Silloth and 5 miles north of Maryport on the B5300.

From junction 40 of the M6 follow the A66 to Keswick then on to Cockermouth. A594 Cockermouth to Maryport. B5300 Maryport to Allonby.
