Attractive, relaxing, adult only, small park set in rolling countryside. A quiet, friendly, David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award site with excellent facilities. Ideally placed for Rutland Water. Two pubs & a bistro in the village - a pleasant walk or cycle!
Greendale Farm Caravan & Camping Park is easily found just off the A606, four miles north of Oakham and six south of Melton Mowbray. Caravans must approach from this road and not through the village. (Otherwise the turning in is very tight.)
From Melton Mowbray: Follow the A606 towards Oakham. Ignore the first two turnings to Whissendine. Turn left 0. mile after the Rutland sign and immediately after a triangular small left turning sign & opposite a brown camping sign. The campsite is approximately 0.6 mile along on your right.
From Oakham: Follow the A606 towards Melton. Ignore the first turning to Whissendine but take the second smaller turning on the right, opposite a camping sign.
