Birchwood Farm Caravan Park is off the A6 at Whatstandwell near Matlock Bath
A warm welcome is offered to visitors old and new to Birchwood Farm Caravan Park by owners Frank and Nora Smith and their family.
Set in an area of outstanding beauty on the hills above the Derwent Valley on the edge of The Peak District, this working farm has long been associated with holiday markers since the 1920s.
Situated in a central position for many of the main attractions in the area.We cater for tourers, tents, motorhomes. we also have 2 holiday homes for hire on a weekly basis. The site has a new toilet block with free showers and there are laundry facilities which include a washer and dryer using tokens, also separate covered Dish Washing area is available. There is a small shop selling basic goods, ice cream, confectionary, calor gas and camping gas and daily papers. situated on the Midshires way, we are a walkers and mountain paradise. Walk though our beautiful woodland which is a mass of bluebells in the spring,to reach the HighPeak Trail or Cromford canal approx 10 minutes away.dogs must be kept on leads at all times and exercised off site and not in a caravan or tent unattended. Owners are responsible fpr cleaning up the ness made by their dogs on site.
