The Park, set in six acres of grassland and trees, nestles in a sheltered valley surrounded by woodland. Flanking one side for the ΒΌ mile length of the Park, the River Lynher provides an interesting and attractive feature, not only for fishing but also the many varieties of wildlife present, recent sightings including kingfisher, buzzard, heron and otter.
Access is available to the River, which is tidal, to facilitate other activities such as boating, canoeing etc., leading to the many miles of navigable water and coast in the area.
The Park is level and has been carefully laid out with hard access roads and landscaping to maximise the natural setting.
Signed directly off the A38, 3.5 miles west of the Tamar Bridge, Plymouth - do not enter Saltash.
