Medieval Chambercombe Manor (1 mile), Victorian resort and ancient harbour of Ilfracombe (1.5 miles), Watermouth Cove with its harbour and theme park (2 miles), the broad sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde (7 - 9 miles) and Barnstaple (13 miles).
Leave the M5 at Junction 27 and take the A361 to Barnstaple. Continue around Barnstaple ring road to Ilfracombe. Continue through Ilfracombe towards Combe Martin. Upon leaving Ilfracombe the road dips into a valley and the entrance to BeachSide is 50 yards beyond the Hele Bay Hotel on the left.
