Situated on the southern edge of picturesque Dartmoor, Outdoor Experience has been serving caravan users and campers since 1997 when we took over from Ashburn Caravans who had been selling caravans here since the 1960s giving us, in total, over 40 years experience in the outdoor leisure industry.
At our site in Ashburton, Devon you will find displays of a large variety of caravans, awnings, tents, trailer tents and accessories. We are the only retailers in Devon and Cornwall of Bailey and Ace Caravans and we also stock Apache and Isabella Awnings for these.
Like our Caravans and Awnings, the tents we stock are of the highest quality. We are stockists of Cabanon frame tents and trailer tents as well as Outwell, Vango, Coleman, Khyam and Sunncamp Dome tents. We also have an Approved Caravan Workshop and are happy to carry out servicing work on any make of caravan.
From Exeter (A38):
Take the 2nd turn off from the A38 marked for Ashburton (Peartree Junction) but then rejoin the A38 going back towards Exeter. Our site will then be visible to your left and you should take the 1st turn off shortly after our site (Whistley Hill). From there just keep going left to Chuley Road.
From Plymouth (A38):
Avoid the 1st turn off from the A38 marked for Ashburton (Peartree Junction). Our site will then be visible to your left and you should take the 1st turn off shortly after our site (Whistley Hill). From there just keep going left to Chuley Road.
