A large site, yet not overwhelming, as its divided into two areas, and is well separated by good trees and shrubs. Convenient for the ferries or for exploring the area. Winchester is an old cathedral city of considerable charm, for it has retained many of its ancient buildings and happily excluded the motor car from its heart. This is an ideal base for touring, within an hours drive you can reach Oxford, Windsor, Chichester and the South Downs, The New Forest, Salisbury and Stonehenge.

Note: the site lies some 2m E of Winchester. Caravans should NOT normally be towed through the city.
From London on M3 - leave at junc 9; at rndabt at end of slip rd keep L onto A33 (sp Southampton); in ¾m at Spitfire rndabt turn L onto A31 (sp Alton); in 1½m at rndabt follow sp Easton; immed turn R in front of Percy Hobbs PH. Site ent in 100yds.
From N on A33 or A34 - abt ¾m after roads merge keep to L lane at rndabt over M3 and follow sp A33, Southampton; in ¾m at Spitfire rndabt turn L onto A31 (sp Alton); then as above.
From S on M27 & M3 - leave M27 at junc 4 onto M3 (sp Winchester); leave M3 at junc 10 and follow signs for A31 (Alton); turn L at large rndabt (1½m past Spitfire rndabt) sp Easton; turn R immed before Percy Hobbs PH. Site ent in 100yds.
From W on A31 - Keep on A31, following signs for Alton to Spitfire rndabt; then as from S on M27/M3 above.
From E on A31 - turn R at rndabt (junc B3404) into rd sp Easton; immed turn R in front of Percy Hobbs PH. Site ent in 100yds.
The site is divided into two areas. Do not enter the first gateway but drive forward to the site office in upper area.
