This site is set in a beautiful park about ten minutes walk from the centre of the popular seaside resort of Ayr. Entertainments cater for all ages and there is a shoppers creche where children can be left safely. Ayrshire is known as The Golf Coast because of the 40 courses in the area. You can learn about Rabbie Burns, the greatest Scottish poet with the Burns Heritage Trait right on the doorstep and The Tam OShanter Experience at Alloway. History fans will enjoy Vikingar at Largs, with its tales of Viking days of yore, and there are many more treats not far away.
From M (Kilmamock) or S (Maybole) on A77 - turn off A77 (Ayr By-pass) at rndabt onto A719 dual cway (sp Ayr, Whittlets, racecourse); in about 1 1/4m (just past racecourse) turn L at traffic Its into Craigie Rd; within 1/4 m R bend) turn L into Craigie
gardens; in 400yds keep R into site.
From E (Cumnock) on A70 - at rndabt turn R onto A77 Ayr By-pass (sp Kilmarnock); then as above. Note: In Jun-Aug do not arrive before 12 noon as parking space very limited.
