This well-sheltered site is situated on the edge of a 520 acre country park with a vast range of outdoor sporting activities, and including use of a seven-mile stretch of safe, sandy beach a mile away. You could spend your entire holiday very happily occupied within the country park itself, and for families this may be the ideal site. You can reach the beach by walking or cycling across the park and its worth the walk for the first glimpse of this silken skein of clean sand. Bird and butterfly watchers will find the area a delight, and there are a whole series of guided walks, mountain walks and nature trails. For the little ones, the miniature railway is charming, and theres an adventure playground too, while for the older children, theres an equestrian centre with riding in the park and a super dry-ski slope and toboggan ride. Parents arent forgotten either, with a pitch and putt course and sea fishing from the beach.

From M4 - leave at junc 48 onto A4138 (sp Llaneili); in 4m on outskirts of Llanelli turn R onto A484 (sp Carmarthen); within 7m in Pembrey turn L at sp Pembrey Country Pk, Cefn Sidan Beach. Follow signs to Country Pk (Im). Site entrance on right 100 yds before park gates.
