Low Manesty Caravan Club Site
Set in National Trust woodland, close to Derwentwater, this is a site to delight the eye and the heart with the lovely fells soaring up and the wild flowers and animals at your feet. There are numerous walks you can take direct from the site and just awaiting your walking boots, for to appreciate this northern lakes area you need to be on your feet. It doesnt have to be strenuos; there are forest trails, nature trails, guided walks and farm walks - the choice is huge. If the Lakes themselves are the main attraction, Derwentwater is busy with boats and a marina. Buttermere and Crummock Water are quieter with only an occasional passing rowing boat, anf Bassenthwaite also merits exploration with its sailing club.
