MIDGES - NO PROBLEM!!!!
A warm welcome awaits your arrival at our small and friendly touring park which is set alongside the Machrihanish Golf Club with beautiful views accross the course to the sea to the Islands of Isla and Jura. We are blessed with the most wonderful sunsets - and due to the open aspect of the site we are not plagued with midges as in other parts of Scotland. The site fees include free showers and hot water for laundry and pot washing. We also have a small shop on site selling essential supplies and ceramics (made on site).
We are a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated location.
Take the A82 from Glasgow to Tarbet alongside Loch Lomond. At Tarbet take the A83 through Inveraray, Lochgilphead and on to Campbeltown. In the town centre take B843 to Machrihanish, site entrance on right, 200 yards past chimney. Keep a close look out - the entrance is not visible until you are within a few yards. If you miss the entrance you can turn around at the bus stop in Machrihanish Village.
