The Isle of Wight is the original Dinosaur Isle. Popular with the Iguanodon of 120 million BC, it now attracts TV and film makers as well as royalty, novelists, politicians and poets. But there’s still plenty of room for a great family holiday or a weekend away from it all.
Some pitches are slightly sloping – chocks required. Well stocked shop with groceries and camping accessories on site. Food take-away on site. Outdoor swimming pool (heated June, July, August and the first week of September) and children’s paddling pool. Fishing is available on site in private carp pool – chargeable, also Fishing on River Yar from 16 June to site closure. There are two play areas: one for younger children and an extensive area for older children including areas for soccer and basketball.
