This site, surrounded by bright heather and gorse moorland, is high above Exeter at the top of Haldon Hill, with superb views and a great feeling of space. Exeters Cathedral Close is at the tranquil heart of the City and should be your first stop, followed by a walk along the River Exe to the Quay. Explore Dartmoor, starting with the National Park Centre at Parke, just outside Bovey Tracey, where there are lovely woodland walks. Then, why not climb up Haytor for the best views on the moor.
