For beach lovers, the site is five miles from the safe sandy beach at Swanage and the glorious stretch of golden sands at Studland Bay is within seven miles. From Dorchester on A352 - at rndabt on oskirts of Wareham turn R onto A351 (sp Swanage); in 6¾m at Harmans Cross turn R just before filling stn into Haycrafts Lane (sp Downshay). Site ent on L in ½m.
From Southampton on A31 - at junc with A350 turn L onto A350 (sp Wareham); in 3½m turn R onto A35 (sp Dorchester, Bere Regis); in 1¾m at rndabt turn L onto A351 (sp Wareham); in 11m at Harmans Cross turn R just before filling stn; then as above.
