Sheepcote Valley Caravan Club Site
Ideally located just 2 miles east of Brighton, snuggled into a fold in the South Downs, a short distance inland from the Marina and adjacent to extensive recreation grounds. The Marina offers a lively nautical atmosphere and the town itself is easily reached from here by bus or by the Volks historic railway along the prom. You could of course take the car, but beware of parking problems! Brighton is a lively town with all the usual attractions of a seaside holiday resort: the shopping is good, The Lanes has unusual boutiques and antiques, and the seafront is a classic of its kind with the Pier still operating (do try the fish & chips there!). In short, there is lots on hand for the whole family, whatever your interests, and Sheepcote Valley is the ideal base from which to enjoy it.

The Pier Sealife Centre Brighton Centre The Lanes Volks Railway From N (London) on M23/A23 - after passing Brighton boundary sign and twin pillars join A27 (sp Lewes); immed after passing Sussex University (on L) leave A27 via slip rd at sp B2123, Falmer, Rottingdean; at rndabt at top of slip rd turn R onto B2123 (sp Falmer, Rottingdean); in 2m at traffic lts in Woodingdean turn R by Downs Hotel into Warren Road; in abt 1m at traffic lts turn L into Wilson Ave, crossing racecourse; in 1¼m turn L at foot of hill (last turning before traffic lts) into East Brighton Park; follow lane for ½m to Site ent on L. From E on A27 (Lewes) - turn L onto B2123 (sp Falmer, Rottingdean); then as above. From W on A27 (Worthing) - follow signs A27 Lewes to University, then as above. From E on A259 - 1m past rndabt at St Dunstans and immed past Roedean School move into R hand slip lane and turn R into Roedean Rd (by miniature golf and opp Marina); in ¾m at traffic lts turn R into Wilson Ave; in 100yds turn R into East Brighton Park. Site ent on L in ½m. From W on A259 - at Palace Pier rndabt in Brighton cont on A259 (sp Newhaven); in 1¼m join dual cway; in 100yds turn L at Intnl caravan sign into Arundel Rd; at mini-rndabt turn R into Rodean Rd; at traffic lts turn L into Wilson Avenue; in 100yds turn R into East Brighton Pk. Site ent on L in ½m. Please note: during Jul/Aug members are advised to arrive after 12 noon by which time pitches will be available. Overnight area very restricted.
