A most attractive site set in open countryside with beautiful views to Bruton Forest and the Downs. For golfers, theres a 9 hole course within the racecourse. Wincanton is a small market town ideally located for touring the region and this is a comparatively unvisited area which merits a closer look if you like a quiet holiday. The list of places to visit is endless in this lush landscape of Somerset farmland stretching through the Blackmore Vale into Dorset. Do visit Shaftesbury, a town with a considerable past and one of the most photographed streets in Dorset - the steep and cobbled Gold Hill, home of the Hovis bread advertisement. Sherborne is also an exceptionally beautiful country town with a large number of medieval buildings.

From E on A303 - leave via slip rd (sp Wincanton, racecourse) onto B3081 (sp Racecourse, Charlton Musgrove); foll all racecourse signs on B3081 via Charlton Musgrove for 3miles; turn L at junc sp racecourse (still on B3081). Site on R in 1 1/2 miles.
From W on A303 - do not turn off at sp Wincanton Town Centre; take next exit (sp Wincanton Racecourse, caravan sign); then as above.
