Applecross Campsite is situated just above the coastal village of Applecross in Wester Ross. Our site is on a six acre field approximately 50 metres above sea level. With beautiful panoramic views over the bay looking across to the Isle of Skye. There is a restaurant that serves the best pizza outside of Italy! and a fully licenced bar. Sit and read the paper, or plan the day in the Flower Tunnel, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, and spoil yourself on a gateau (or two). You can get to like this life. We have brand new 6 berth caravans for hire, along with wigwams and camping huts that sleep a maximum of 4 people.
Just getting to Applecross is an absolute pleasure, taking you through some of the most awe inspiring and untouched scenery in Western Europe. Physically, we are only two hours drive from Inverness Airport and Railway Station, but spiritually and emotionally were decades away.... and you can come to us from Kishorn via the Bealach nam Bo the only true Alpine pass in Britain or take the "cowards" way, round by Shieldaig and along the coast. Its never been easier with improved road links from Inverness & Fort William, low cost flights & a rail link to Strathcarron on the west coast line. Scottish Citylink and Skyeways also run a service to Kyle of Lochalsh near to Applecross.
