Caravan Park Further Details
A site perched on the top of the cliffs with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding countryside.
The site accepts Tourers and Motorhomes only, but is limited in size. It is very busy over the summer and Bank holidays so getting there early is a must.
The site has a shop and a clubhouse with childrens hour party games to keep them happy.A cafe and amusement arcade.
Adventure playground and below the cliffs down a steep winding path there is a nice beach. When the tide is out there are many rock pools for the young ones to explore.
Once a haven for pirates and smugglers, the cliff-sheltered bays of this coastline are as beautiful as they are legendary. Whitby is a thriving fishing port with a picturesque harbour and quaint town, its shops, restaurants and pubs full of the character associated with a bygone era.

Nearby Robin Hoods Bay envelops visitors in its cobbled, cottage-lined streets, which lead steeply down to a beautiful beach.

Runswick and Sandsend also have wonderful beaches, each having a unique character and the timeless appeal of traditional seaside villages.

Inland, the North Yorkshire Moors, now famous as Heartbeat country, is spectacular for touring, the Moors Railway being well worthy of a visit for those wishing to view the beauty of the area by steam train. More action and adventure, however, may be sought at Flamingoland Fun Park, or the busy seaside town of Scarborough, with its shops, cinemas, theatres and Sea life Centre. Alternatively, a walk along the coastal footpaths in this area will appeal to nature lovers.
