Every year visitors come in their thousands from overseas as well as from every part of Britain - the lure of the Lakes is irresistible! Relative to its size the Lake District is unique, and its infinite variety of landscape and attractions holds something for everyone.
Limefitt is situated just off the A591 between Windermere and Ambleside.
From junction 36 follow signs South Lakes then Windermere. About half a mile north of Windermere turn right at the mini roundabout taking the A592 Patterdale Road signposted Ullswater. Limefitt is 2.5 miles on the right.
