Park Foot offers sites with views of Lake Ullswater, the second largest lake within the Lake District.
We offer you not just camping and caravanning, but high quality self-catering accommodation as well.
The site has a licenced bar & beer garden, restaurant & take-away. discos & entertainment as well as a shop supplying groceries, camping equipment and outdoor clothing.
The camping and caravan site is open from March to November, however, some self-catered accomodation is available all year.
The area is ideal for fishing. Martindale and Kentmere Common which border the lake make this area a walkers paradise. The magnificent Aira Force Waterfall (65ft high) is 4 miles away. Penrith, gateway to the Lakes, is a market town 5 miles away, and has a golf course, heated indoor swimming pool and plenty of shops to cater for all tastes.
From the M6 leave junction 40 onto the A66 Keswick/Ullswater road, then at the next roundabout take the A592 to Ullswater. At the T junction turn left for Pooley Bridge, and then right at the church and right at the crossroads onto Howtown Road. We are 1 mile from Pooley Bridge on the left.
