The Headland is a peaceful family run park on one of the most beautiful stretches of the North Cornwall coast, and in the mystical village of Tintagel. Our site is just 10 minutes walk from the ruins of King Arthurs Castle, and 300 yards from the North Cornwall Coastal Path, renowned for its spectacular scenery.
We have no club house so we are ideal for those who want a peaceful ‘away from it all‘ holiday, but if you want to have a meal or a drink, go shopping or to a disco, our village location means its just a short walk, no need to take the car. Indeed, this site is suitable for anyone without a car.
By Road
Enter Cornwall on the A30, 3 miles after bypassing Launceston turn onto the A395 signposted Trethorne Leisure Park, towards Camelford. About 9 miles further on turn right at a small crossroads in Davidstow village. At the T - junction turn left (A39) then immediately right, and follow the signs to Tintagel. When you are in the village follow the camping/caravan signs for The Headland.
By Rail
Train services run into Cornwall - the closest station to Tintagel is Bodmin Parkway. However the easiest way to travel to Tintagel by train is to leave the train at Plymouth and catch a First Western National Bus (Tel 01208 79898) from the station to Tintagel village. The Headland Caravan Park is just a short walk (5 Mins) from the bus stop but if you would like us to collect you please let us know.
