One if not THE most idyllic lakeside holiday park in The Lake District, Hill Of Oaks offers exclusive lake frontage on Windermere with five piers and slipways to launch from. We are offering discounted rates to canoes, sailboards and sailboats again this season to coincide with the new lake bylaws. We are very much family orientated with nature walks and a safe natural play area, also a barrier system on our entrance and exit. The park welcomes Tourers and Motor homes. We also have Lodges and Holiday Homes for sale, please contact us for details of homes etc on our e-mail: enquiries@hillofoaks.co.uk or give us a call on 015395 31578 or alternatively view our sales page.
Pop in and have a look round we cant really do it justice in words and pictures!!!!!!!
Hill of Oaks holiday Park, is set in the grounds of an ancient woodland and farm with lambs, ponies and poultry, in the fields as you come down the drive. Overlooking Windermere it is an ideal location for touring van and motorhome holidays. All static caravans are privately owned and not available for hire. The Park enjoys a generally quiet family orientated character even in the busier holiday periods, with 24 hour video security. Camping is not allowed.
The award winning site consistently rated at 5 Stars, by the English Tourism Council, is well laid out with serviced holiday home pitches and an excellent touring area with hardstanding, screened pitches for ease of siting and recreation.
The beautiful woodland setting provides shelter and a managed environment for wildlife, which resulted in Hill of Oaks gaining the David Bellamy, British Holiday and Home Parks Gold Conservation Award every year since 2000.
The Park recently introduced a voluntary fund-raiding scheme for conservation projects in the Windermere area through the Lake District Tourism and Conservation Partnership.
Our resident managers, qualified as Welcome Hosts (the industry standard for good service), are on site to look after you as our guests and to ensure you enjoy your stay at Hill of Oaks, a centre for touring the Lake District. Many guests return and recommend the Park to friends and family.
