Secluded timber cabins in a beautiful wooded valley running down to the sea at Wembury Bay. Stunning walks, lots of wildlife, peace and quiet. Pets (up to two dogs) welcome.

Peace and Tranquillity
There are no discos, bars or cafes ­ just rock pools, wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Secluded it may be, isolated it is not. Churchwoods licensed shop sells a wide range of food and drink, beach toys, gifts and many other items ­ so you dont even need to leave the site for those essential items. We also have a fully equipped launderette.

Seclusion and Privacy
Each holiday cabin has its own plot on the hillside, surrounded by trees, flowering shrubs, hedges and rustic fences. All cabins have views across the valley, with some looking out over the water meadow or towards the sea. Theres a car parking space near each cabin and private roads and paths give access to the beach, an unspoiled stretch of rock pools and shingle with sand at low tide. Adjoining National Trust land, the beach is no more than a ten minute stroll away from any of the cabins.

Away From It All
If getting away from it all is the most important part of your holiday, then Churchwood Valley will suit you. By moving no further than your armchair, youll see delightful displays of bird life, and a trip to your private patio may well afford a glimpse of badgers, foxes, squirrels and other wildlife. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, for a small charge, and dog exercise areas are provided.

Please Note The naturally hilly landscape of Churchwood Valley means that only a few of our cabins are suitable for those who are disabled. If ease of access is important, please discuss this with our staff when making your reservation.

Leave the A38 at Marsh Mills (the exit for Plymouth City Centre), follow signs to Kingsbridge until you reach Elburton. Turn right and follow signs to the Langdon Court Hotel. Continue past its entrance until you see signs for Churchwood Valley.
