Welcome to Trewhiddle Village Holiday Park, the country park with the sea nearby, the ideal site for the family holiday, run by a family, for the family Trewhiddle Holiday Estate has recently be acquired by the Seaview International Group and many immediate improvements are now underway. Trewhiddle holds an English Tourist Board 4 Tick Award and the English Tourist Board Rose Award for holiday accommodation.

The importance of the area of Trewhiddle can be traced back through history to A.D. 874 to 876 when monks fleeing from a Viking raid, worried about the loss of possessions, buried many silver coins and a silver chalice-shaped cup. The Trewhiddle Chalice now lodged in the British Museum, with a replica in the Truro Museum was unearthed by tin mining activities in 1774. These treasures were found fourteen feet below a tenement attached to Trewhiddle House. The Pentewan valley was an area rich in pure tin and the recently restored footpath walk to the Pentewan beach traces the path of the river past Kingswood, richly mined in the 18th century.
