Whitstable is a working harbour with fresh fish and seafood market. The towns famous oysters can be sampled from several restaurants. Charming shops offer local art and crafts. Only a few miles inland is Canterbury, a city which dates back to medieval times with many buildings and streets still remaining, giving a fascinating view of past times. Bel Harry Tower, 500 years old, stands over one of the worlds greatest cathedrals, Mother church of the Anglican faith.
